GP Registrars

This is a training practice, helping to introduce hospital doctors to General Practice. These fully qualified doctors work in the practice for 6 to 12 months doing the same job as the other doctors. This is compulsory experience before becoming a General Practitioner (GP).

On occasion the Reception staff may ask if it is possible for your consultation with a registrar to be videoed. The consultations are videoed as part of their training. For the videoing to happen you have to a. give permission and b. sign a consent form. Videoing will not take place without your consent/permission. The videos are treated as confidential to the training process. If you require more information please ask at the Reception.
